How much do you know about the history of flight? Did you know that the first manned flight took place in Paris in 1703? The Montgolfiers Brothers took off from Folie Titon, and though their balloon remained tethered throughout the manned flight, they still managed to reach an altitude of 24 meters! The first powered flight did not occur for another hundred and ten years, when the Wright Brothers achieved an altitude of around 3 meters and covered a distance of 37 meters on their first flight.
